What the calculation leaves out

  1. 01

Employer on-costs. We use gross salary, not the roughly 30% on top that an hour actually costs the office.

makes the value smaller than it is

  2. 02

Onboarding and the switch itself. No tool works on day one the way it works in month six.

makes the value larger than it is at first

  3. 03

Planning errors avoided, variation orders, tenders lost. The most expensive mistake is the one nobody catches in time.

    not valued at all

These are assumptions, not measurements from customer projects. The price is an example too, not an offer. If your search time is 20%, the value per seat nearly halves.
